lot yeah yeah like this is the first time

in a long time. You and I aren't just like BSing and then doing rankings. There's some news trickling it. There is a little news here. It's a slow time. Right. You know, I know on pro football talk yesterday. I mean, let's be serious. The biggest story in the sport right now was Mike Vrable and Diana Rucini. That's the biggest story. That's everybody in the NFL is talking about it. Everybody in the country is talking about it. It crossed over to mainstream media to where it's like TMZ. It's the New York... It's pop culturey, right? It's gone past that.

That's how popular football is. That's how popular Mike Vrable is. So, you know, you're right. There's not a lot of news, but yes, they're exactly right. And, you know, of course, Diana Rossini is dealing with issues and whether she'll continue to work for the athletic or the New York Times and all that. So, yeah, it's become a huge subject that we've talked about a little bit. We'll see where it goes. But, yeah, other than that and a few little things here and there, there hasn't been a ton of news in the NFL right now. Well, that one is multilayer too, Chris, because you brought up, like, everybody's talking about it. But people are also talking about the people that will not talk about it.

So, like, obviously, Diana's worked in this industry for a long time. Yeah. Has a lot of close friends that are big talking heads in this industry that don't know how to talk about it. Well, it's a hard thing to talk about it is, right? We opened up the show Monday, and it's just like, yeah, first off, you don't want to get in trouble. I don't want to say anything disrespectful to either size.

Which I would go, again, you know, it's two different jobs.

So I don't think it's a double standard.

I kind of look at it as like, yeah, Diana Rossini, what her job to do is to have relationships professionally to have little inklings of information to pass along information to the public.

So we all kind of know what's going on in football.

But when it crosses professionalism, you wonder then with the biases and what's going on and what's really being said or was there a story to be told, but we didn't tell it because, you know, we had a relationship with the person. I'm just saying that's what's out there. Where as far as a coach is concerned, like, no, this doesn't really affect his ability to coach the football team still. It's not a good look for him. Sure. It's not a good look for the Patriots. But I think that's where it's different and that's where it's become, like, to your point, mainstream pop culture type of subject here as we're sitting here in the middle of April. And the extra awkward timing of it that coaches are public facing more than ever in the offseason during the NFL draft. Totally. A pre-draft press conference pressers after the night one is done, night two is done, the draft is done. There's a lot of reports out there that Rayble might not do all of that. And I think obviously the question isn't going to be, hey, what are you looking for at the end of the first round?

No, he's going to have to answer this eventually.
