one other thing that is worth noting is that Chief Justice John Roberts, who didn't much question why Donald Trump's Justice Department kept changing sides in cases filed in the Obama era,

complained on Tuesday that Biden's Justice Department was doing the same thing

in a case about crack cocaine sentences.
