At the Pentagon on Tuesday morning, Central Command provided an update.

General Dan Cain says the United States

struck a handful of more fast attack vehicles. A Danish Mersk shipping vessel actually made it

through the Strait of Hermuz with help from the U.S. Navy. And Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth,

says the ceasefire is still there and reminds Iran.

What we're demonstrating with Project Freedom is they don't control the strain.

I mean, we know Iran is embarrassed by the fact that our blockade is holding and we can run ships through.

And we're going to help the world run ships through.

And if they hold it at issue, the whole world knows who's doing it.

It's not us. We're willing to

open it up. It's Iran. And that creates a dilemma for them. We hope they make a deal. Secretary of War,

Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon yesterday morning at the White House, Secretary of State, Marco Rubio,

says, hey, we need to have a dose of reality here. If there was a different nation, a different power in charge, or at least trying to assert their authority over the strait of Hormuz, we'd be up the creek. Everybody needs to think about it this way. If Iran had a nuclear weapon, and they decided to close the straits and make our gas prices like $9 a gallon or $8 a gallon, we wouldn't be able to do anything about it because they have a nuclear weapon. And a nuclear armed Iran could do whatever they hell they want with the straits, and there's nothing anyone would be able to do about it. And that's one of the many reasons, apart from like the massive loss of life and a nuclear strike, why Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. I mean, so this is an example of if they

had a nuclear weapon, they closed the straits and they would tell the world, what are you going to do about it? We have a nuclear weapon. We can attack you with it. That's the world where none of us want to leave behind. It won't happen under this president's watch, but some future president and future, you know, and the future Americans will have to deal with this. So just one more example why these guys can never be allowed to have a nuclear weapons secretary of state marco

rubio we'll hear more from him in those remarks later on.
