When we were doing the research for Rosen 11,

I actually posted on a mastering Facebook forum.

I was like, you know, what makes a mix really hard to master?

And one of the best responses, you know, was like when instruments have sort of a conflicting tone,

for example, you might have a vocal that's too bright, but a snare drum that's too dark.

And so you can't boost with just a typical mastering EQ, even midside, like they're probably both in the middle.

So, you know, what I brought to the team was, okay, we have this, you know, stem separation, machine learning DSP already in master rebalance, and that's just doing gain.

So, you know, we figured out, let's take it a step further and not let you just change the gain of these stems,

but really change any aspect of the stem that you could possibly imagine using all of the tools in ozone.
