Something that I've learned even as a programmer as well, or just the composer, I think sometimes you have to go through the process of finding out what it isn't before you find out what it is. I mean, there are times when if I'm doing a pop track for somebody, whereas literally, here's the song and it's a piano demo vocal, and they want a cool pop track that sounds like the radio. Sometimes you might go through three or four iterations

before you find that one sound that's like, oh man, this is the song.
