It has been three years since I have done one of these.

I think enough time has gone by.

It is the return of a segment that I started over six years ago called RSPW Rewind.

And if you can believe it, this is episode 38. And I am the Salomonster.

This is where we look back at what the smart marks were discussing, long before the cesspool of

today that is social media. I started this basically, it was a segment originally as part of the actual Soundoff podcast.

And I started this many years ago on Sound Off in 2019 as a way of showing people that wrestling fans complaining online was a thing way before we were all accustomed to it here on social media, on Facebook and Twitter and

every other place that basically people bitch and moan about wrestling. But they were bitching

and moaning about things even back when Brett Hart won his first WWE title and the NWO

was born. Now back then, just to give a little history lesson here, it was a news group called RSPW,

which the Urban Dictionary defines in a couple of different ways.

Two ways in particular.

It defines it as an acronym for REC.Sport.pro-destling, a Usenet group filled with insane hostile trolls, which is a very

accurate description.

It's also defined as a Usenet discussion board where wrestling and a number of other topics

are discussed in depth,

where who is still Jim Nighthart, and where Triple H is regarded the same as Adolf Hitler.

It's a little extreme. So many of those old posts, unfortunately, many of them have been lost to time and space.

However, if you know where to look, there actually are quite a few posts that are still available

to search for. For example, I'm going to show you right now, and before we get into all of the

actual posts I'm going to be diving into here in a moment.

But I was able to find what is believed to be in regarded as the oldest archive post on all of RSPW.
