Summary

So my talk at the ICS SOA 2016 conference on whether ED should be allowed to intubate certainly provoked some discussion, which was fortunate as it was the purpose of the talk!

If you haven't listened to it yet, stop listening to this and have a listen to the talk here first.

In this quick debrief between Rob and myself we have a think about the feedback and where to go from here.

We'd love to hear any feedback in the comments section at the webpage at www.TheResusRoom.co.uk

pertinent that in my practice where EDRSI is not commonly performed by E.M.

0:45.4

Physicians and I thought there was some good points raised.

0:48.0

However, it certainly caused a little bit of a stir on Twitter and sort of really confuse me

0:54.0

a little bit with some of the

0:54.9

comments where it seems as though this is really the done thing in a few departments around

0:59.4

this country and certainly around the world which is interesting in itself. So have you got any of the

1:04.3

points that you wanted to cover? So I suppose the first thing was that foam at times actually can seem like you don't get an

1:12.2

awful lot of feedback and you're putting stuff out there and don't really get much back.

1:16.2

And what was absolutely brilliant about that podcast is that it did spark an online competition.

1:21.4

Is that it did spark.

1:23.6

Yeah, it did.

1:25.1

Freudian.

1:27.9

It did spark an online discussion about whether or not this topic even needed to be discussed at all.
