POD Save the Queen!

Hello and welcome back to POD Save the Queen.

I'm your host Anne Grepa.

I am joined by my good friend Denny Mary Royal editor Russell Myers who is not melting in the heat wave this week.

Instead he's trying to avoid getting blown away in the stalls.

I am, it's blowing a gale.

It's, I don't know, what's it like where you are?

Happy English summer everybody.

If I go outside, I may disappear, that's how bad it is.

So the weather is back to normal.

Some other things are back to normal in Royal Land.

Changing of the Guard is back at Windsor Castle,

that signs of returning to normality.

And yes, we've got lots to talk about today.

And I sort of, you know, it's a little bit end of term or a little bit sort of you know pre-holiday happy

But don't worry you will have lots of interesting royal things to listen to over the coming weeks because I've been out and about doing some

specials wrestle I've been hanging with other people not with you I mean it's ludicrous

to be honest you've been flaunting your wares treating on me who you've been flaunting your wares, cheating on me, who you've been out with this week?

So last week just after we recorded I went out with Zoe Forcy and we went to Westminster Abbey

and that will be a recording that we'll be sharing with you

next week. It was absolutely fantastic and they were very, very kind to us and they

also kindly went and asked the organist to do his practice a little bit later because it wasn't it was going to make recording a little bit difficult over the top of the organ.
