Hello and welcome to POD Save the Queen.

You can probably tell that I'm not your usual host and Gripper.

It's me that we foresee this week and has very kindly for one week only

promoted me from the guest chair to the hosting seat because I'm joined by a very special guest.

I have with me today the editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine and

royal author and kind of all-round royal expert in Grid Seward. So thank you very much

for joining us today. And Greg, how are you?

Well that was a very nice introduction thank you very much.

And so we're here today thank you very much for joining us and to talk about your new book

Prince Philip revealed a man of his century, which is absolutely fantastic.

I loved it.

How did you find writing it?

I found writing it quite difficult actually,

because he's had such a long life, and there's so much to talk about.

So I really wrote about Philip the man and what his reaction was to all the situations that have happened during his and the

the Queen's marriage and obviously before,

but I tried to come to it from a different perspective

and put in a lot of the things

that people don't know about Prince Philip and you know how much he's he's done if you notice which I'm sure everyone that's interested in royalty does he's always walking two steps behind the Queen. He's always in the background. I actually wanted to call the book two steps behind but the publishers thought no one would know what I was talking about and they're probably right.
