This comes as no surprise to at least me. I mean, why would it? I booked the show.

But I mean, like, if you asked me before I started the podcast, who would be the first five time guest, I probably would have said Roy.

Roy really cares about comedy and making comedy better. Roy is incredibly deliberate and thoughtful about his process.

And also Roy is arguably like the best standup comedian working.

He is a testament to standup's ability to expand audience and thinking by finding unique personal angles on the most discussed topics.

And also jokes are so funny.

I actually saw Roy working on his most recent special in early September.

And after I said, you know, I went back to the green room to say hi.

And immediately he had like a hundred questions about how he did this joke.

And what should he change here?

And he's talking to everybody and everyone is giving notes.
