Summary

Joshua & Mr. Mime set out from Pewter City and are immediately ambushed by a research aide crazy about Running Shoes, for which they are thankful because they'll need 'em to run away from those freaky Shorts Guys all over Route 3. Mr. Mime suffers a loss, and Joshua finds a new companion who accompanies him along the journey through a new and improved Mt. Moon—now with water features! On the other side, the boy and... Pokéman find themselves kicking and punching with some pseudo karate kings before dipping their toes in the pool with Misty. Will they both make it out with no drowned Pokémon?
