Hello everybody and welcome to the September 11th edition of the Dizz Unplugged.

This is John Maygai. I'm filling in for Pete Werner. Peter is on a cruise this week.

And I think I speak for everybody here when I say we are very, very jealous.

Joining me is our Orlando team. We have Corey Martin, Ricky Pearson, Bob Varley,

and Kevin Close. And let's get started.

I think we should just mention real quick that obviously today is the fifth anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center.

And by the time you're listening to this podcast, I'm sure you're probably inundated already with images and stories and all sorts of stuff going on the news about September 11th.

And I don't think that it's something that we really need to dwell on.

But it got me thinking that this is one of those events that you always remember where you were.

When you either heard about it or you saw it, it becomes kind of like the Kennedy assassination.

You know, where were you when and for many of us that where were you when is something related to Disney?

I remember watching the entire newscast for some reason that day I was up early earlier than usual and I had the news on.

And from beginning to end, you know, I watched intently as most of America day.

There probably most of the world did as the events unfolded.

And one of the things that became clear during the events of that day was that there was so much confusion and so much speculation as to what was actually going on.

People didn't know what was going to be a target that day.

And Walt Disney World got mentioned as a primary target of what might be attacked.

And I remember thinking, well, first of all, I live near Walt Disney World, so that's disturbing.

And also, you know, this would be a tremendous tragedy in addition to the tragedies that have already occurred if Walt Disney World were attacked.

But thank God, luckily that didn't occur and the events that took place that they were tragic enough that we did not have to endure anything like that.

I know that other people have memories and recurrences of where they were when they heard about the towers being attacked and the Pentagon being attacked on that day.
