Hi, my name is Lettysagoon.

I am in my 30s.

I am a Mexican now living in the U.S., and I'm very excited to be here

sharing my story. My name is Ashley Franji. I'm Mexican. I grew up in Guadalajara and now live in the U.S. as well.

And this is Roundabout, a podcast about road trips, relationships,

and the memories made along the way.

And this is our story.

So we go way back.

I think we've known each other since we were born

because my grandpa and her grandpa, my grandma and her grandma were best friends.

They were playing cards until they died.

Literally.

But we sort of like grew up in the same city, knew that each other existed, went to different

schools but would see each other like in parties and like growing up.

It wasn't until we were like 17 that we reconnected because her ex-boyfriend,

Ashley's ex-boyfriend, was dating a friend of mine.

So she would call me just to get some info for the gossip.

And that's how we reconnected.
