I am Bill Huffman and welcome to this week's bonus episode of Who Killed Amy Mahalovic.

On this week's episode, I'll be hosting a roundtable discussion with James Renner and Nick from True Crime Garage about the recent documentary series that aired on the Investigation Discovery Channel these past few weekends

called the Lake Erie murders who killed amy mohalovic the documentary was just released

and so far has garnered some new information for authorities information they are obviously

keeping close to the vest.

The director Tom, his director of photography, and four other light and sound guys interviewed me in September at my home and studio.

It was quite the production, and it was comforting to see how much effort and care they

were actually putting into this story.

For the case like Amy's, where the people involved want to see resolution, it was pretty

impressive to see the amount of work that they were actually putting in.

I believe they said they had started this project over a year ago and were very excited

about it coming to a close.

As the doorbell rang and when I opened the door, there were two black minivans pulling up.

And there stood Tom, about 6-2, skinny and British.

He introduced himself and was very courteous, the whole six hours that they occupied our house.

And actually that should be said for the whole crew.

They were obviously tired, but were very keen on making sure that every shot looked and sounded just right.

The crew emptied out their vans and quickly filled the kitchen and dining room with their equipment.

There were an army of guys working together to finish these last few shots, and I believe

I was one of the last people to be interviewed before they actually hit the editing bed.

Tom spent the first few hours after he arrived, devouring the collection of news clippings that had grown over the years.

The original newspaper clips that were used in the series came straight out of the archive that was given to me by a source.
