| 1:21.4 | Shea Gilders-Alexander. |
| 1:22.8 | Here's more from Locked-on Thunder. |
| 1:26.8 | Shea is to the point where you look at his box score today, 18 points on 53% shooting, |
| 1:32.7 | and you think how could that be bad look for Shea standing? |
| 1:34.9 | That's not a good game. |
| 1:35.9 | For Shea's standards, that is a C game at best, as he was a plus nine in 35 minutes. |
| 1:40.4 | He only had three free throws today, and the Lakers need a lot of credit for that. Again, you every day has heard me talk about it with Lockdown Lakers. If you listen to their aspect of our crossover episode and some Laker fans weren't excited to hear me say it, but it is possible. You can defend Shea without fouling. It's just really hard to do. Credit to the Lakers for defending Shea without failing. They had the right approach. They were physical. They were aggressive. They were forceful with Shea. But guess what? They stayed in front of Shea for most of the night. So they were never out of position. They were never chilling the play. They were never having their arms extended and getting their hands caught in the cookie jar. They were doing all the right things to keep Shea off the line. that's a huge win for JJ Reddick and company. You're going to see him adjust. He always does. He always figures it out. And of course, he has the quote about how he has the answers to the test. He has to see the questions first. He saw the questions. He saw the questions today. So the Thunder win last night, despite not the best game from Shade Gilgis Alexander, the top-seated pistons beat the Cavs at home, but the Cavs rallied late to keep that game within 10. The Knicks blew out the 76ers at home in their first game of round two. The Timberwolves beat the Spurs, but nearly fumbled the game away late. Of the four teams up-one-nothing, who should be the most confident after game one about winning their series? |
