To talk about Minut 89, Minut 89 of Revenge of the Sith.

It starts off with our star-crossed lovers reunited at last and it ends a minute later with Padme admits that she's afraid

Mm-hmm. I mean I think she should be. Yeah I think her fear is justified. Yeah I think she should have been for for a while now. Yeah, you know, pregnancy hormones, they distort everything.

The scene, part of the scene really bugs me because I think it, I mean a lot of people say, oh, Padmae just doesn't really have anything to do in this movie and she just stands around, literally being barefoot and pregnant.

And this is a classic, this is a great example of example that she's like a senator with friends and everything and yet she's just kind of standing around

Anakin comes back and she's like what's going on like what's happening?

Wouldn't this be like the biggest news of, you know what I mean?

Like it wouldn't everyone be calling her or whatever be saying, oh my God Padme, you know?

Right.

It's strange.

Like this is like there's a really good point. Like this would be big news. This would be big news. This would be yeah and well and you know one thing I wonder because you're talking about you know she's a senator and she has friends. Do we ever see her hanging out with any like female

friends once she stops being Queen and she doesn't have handmaidens around
