What's up everybody? I am Raymond Summerlin, your host for this edition of the Roto World Football Podcast, and I will be

joined today as I am every single Thursday by Rich Riebar to discuss the Thursday night game, as well as

the most interesting data points from his weekly worksheet column, as well as Nick Minzio,

who has all the most important starts and sits for week nine of the fantasy football season.

And we very, very much appreciate it. With all of that out of the way, what's going on, Rich? What's going on, Ray? Here we are, man, week nine, and this is probably the toughest week for owners, you know, we're talking about bye weeks, and there's six teams on by. But this week, it's basically four really good offenses. They have a lot of players we've been counting on. You know, Levion Belizade, Antonio Brown, Tom Brady, Gronk. You know, the charges have have been in offense, Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen,

Jared McKinnon, who we've picked up off the waivers a week's go and been riding to three RB1 performances is out. So, I mean, this is kind of a tricky week this week. Not a lot of, a lot of big guns are out of lineups in week nine. Yeah, I mean, it's so bad that there's a league that I'm actually upset to be without Latavius Murray this week. That's how deep,

week. That's how deep, that's how deep it goes. But yeah, it's a tough buy week. And, you know,

there aren't really a lot of great matchups I look at there. I'm not excited about a lot of the games.

And that certainly is true of Thursday night, which, you know, the Thursday night came last week,

certainly let us down. This one looks like a dog again, especially, I would assume, to most

people. But there are some interesting storylines here. Both of these teams have overperformed

what we thought they would be this season, especially the bills. I remember talking after

that week one game, you know, is this going to be either of

these teams only win? And certainly that hasn't been the case. Lishon McCoy is on a tear lately.

Buffalo just acquired a real receiver to help Tyraud Taylor. It's an amazing idea. Give him a receiver

and see what happens. I'm not sure how much Benjamin will play in this game, but it at least creates some intrigue. So with all of that in mind, how are you feeling about Buffalo's fantasy players this week? Yeah, I think this game is, it could be pretty decent from like a watchability standpoint. Like you said, both teams are kind of overachieving. I think it'll be a close game too. So that at least, you know, that's all we really asked for with the NFL is at least give us, you know, a close game to keep our excitement throughout, whereas last week we had that monster blowout. We can live with the teams, you know, giving us some poor matchups, but, you know, make the games exciting. We need them to be competitive. But he touched on, I mean, LaShawn McCoy, set and forget. I mean, he's just racking up receptions to aid his floor.

Now he's scoring touchdowns to elevate a ceiling, you know, outside of the buy. We knew those touchdowns were going to come. It's an interesting spot for Tyrod. He's been better at home than on the road so far this season, but the Jets have allowed two and more passing touchdowns.

In six games this season, which is tied for Cleveland for the most in the league,

I still have no problem, like I said, with the teams on by. Rolling Tyrod out there, I don't know if you'll get that ceiling performance, but you know what you're getting out of Tyrod Taylor. He's just a steady, like consistently churning you like 15 to 17 fantasy points. You know what you're going to get from him and his legs.

I don't, like you said, it's basically, Kelvin Benjamin is going to play 50 hours after he got traded, which is really tough to ask for a wide receiver. If it was a running back and we were just going to give him touches, it'd be different. But, you know, it's a little tricky. And Calvin Benjamin's a guy that had been playing consistently well this year, too. I think that is what made it so surprising of the trade.
