The Welcome to episode 251 of the sleeper in the bust I am Paul Spore and it is your Tuesday edition. I am flying solo with

you know out on vacation. I will, or I should say I should have a guest for Thursday. I don't have one a thousand percent booked yet, so saying that

could end up being wrong if I was definitive, but I feel confident. I feel confident that I will

have a guest on Thursday, so you won't just have to listen to me go on and on

But today you have to sorry, but it's gonna be good. It's gonna be really good. Obviously with the all-Star break happening, we don't have, you know, games to talk about.

There isn't a ton of news to talk about.

So I came up with a little, you know, central topic of I that I want to talk about and

basically what I'm going to do is go over a handful of pictures that I think could

be huge in the second half and that's that's a little bit vague and you're going to hear

some of the names and be like,

wow, Paul, great call, dude.

Here's the thing.

I was looking it over from last year, 2014.

And the top 30 ERA leaders in the first half of those 30 only nine of them were

able to repeat in the second half and so the the point is is that we're going to get

some turnover there.

And you know, top 30 in ERA is pretty substantial.

It's usually about a 3 ERA or below both of these last couple of years.

So I mean, these are the cream of the crop.

And so with only nine of them repeating,

and I didn't go back a ton of years

to see how sticky it is from year to year,
