I'm, we're both on a little sleep here so let's get right to it what was the first

order of the day today first order of the day is talking about Carlos Beltran

to the Yankees which is now finally official. It seems so long ago that the actual

tray or signing was announced. We weren't sure if we talked about it last episode. So we're

leading off today talking about Carlos Beltran joining the Bronx bombers.

Well, man, I love Carlos Beltran, he's like, you know, an amazing avenue favorite and kind of like a counterculture in some in some ways because he got a lot of blame for you know that that one failed met's

Omar mania met's run where where he saw the curveball from Adam Raimritt and the season ended.

I don't necessarily think that's his fault and I mean Wainwright has struck a lot of people with curveballs and we always

thought he was a great player that didn't deserve much blame for what

happened there so I've always liked him I think even at this point in his career where he can't play, you know, center, he can't almost play the outfield as much anymore.

And, you know, last year was disappointing in terms of walk rate, but the power is still there and he's aging well because he's coming off with such a great sort of athletic peak, I think.

Yeah, I agree with all that. I I mean he definitely is aging well it's

tough to believe that he's you know 36 turning 37 here but the the ballpark's obviously

going to be a great fit for him he's got he shows more power from the left side so that'll be a nice fit for him. He's trying to make the push into the Hall of Fame and that's only going to vote. Playing in that ballpark is only going to help him, especially if they can you know, keep him in right field. Give some time to D.H that's going to help

extend his career I've always been a big fan of this guy and as a guy who primarily

plays ale-only leagues I'm very happy that he's in the American League.

Yeah that's true. I'm very happy that he's in the American League.
