The Welcome to episode 94 of the Sleeper and the Bus

Podcast. I am your host Jason Colette joined once again by

Enoseris this morning who I apparently have infected via TCP IP because he is now sick

correct yeah it's not my fault right no we're thousands of miles apart.

Yeah, so that is, that's the situation.

Today's podcast, we called it the Keystone Podcast,

we record a couple of days ago

because we're talking about the Pirates and the Phillies today.

But before we get into those two teams,

there is a little bit of breaking news this morning

as we sit down to record.

And that is Matt Laitos had knee surgery today on a tear in his left

meniscus. The Reds official Twitter account says that he will be out he'll resume his normal

throwing program in 10 to 14 days. It may sound like nothing this time in

camp but these guys are on specific schedules the day they hit camp so the

fact that he's having surgery on the second day

because the Reds reported on the 13th, the fact that he's having surgery is going to

set him back two weeks. Do you think it'll surprise anybody if he starts

the season on a disabled list

and misses two starts two or three starts you know?

No I mean knees not an arm so at least that's good news but it's very important for delivery and

you know I think that he'll be behind in spring so it don't mean something not sure what
