My name is Alex Dunlap here with Cody Carpeteer reacting to breaking news that we got just before we started recording the show here,

and that is Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jalen Waddle, who will turn 28 this season, has been traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for the Broncos first round pick at number 30 in the 2026 NFL draft.

Just a major trade here with some implications on both sides.

We thought, Cody, that the free agency stuff and all the adjustments that were needing to be made and all the calculations we've had to put into the model about ADP projections for the best ball cheat sheet and the updates to the dynasty rookie top 250 over at roster watch, at least we had gotten to a good spot with where we were feeling good about where the baseline

we had said and now it was just about tweaks.

This whole thing with Jalen Waddle, it throws a real wrench into things because Waddle was a

guy who we saw as a little bit of a value, right, a player that we were taking a little bit

earlier than some of these, then some of his,

his ADPs, you know, are right now in best ball. We're looking at a draft king's ADP currently

of like 55.7, underdog at 53.8. He's moved down about 1.3 spots during the course of the last week over the course of free agency.

And so where our model has him baked in for getting good value would be to get him in maybe the lowest part of the range at 54, 55, at the highest part of the range, maybe 57, 58.

We were nudging him a little bit above that.

And now I wonder if this has gone down the tubes with the trade to Denver,

whether you think he's lost value.

I don't think we can say he's gained value here, simply because of the target

competition changing up in a real way, right? Whereas now he has Cortland Sutton and Troy

Franklin to deal with. And to some degree, you know, Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims, although,

you know, there is a slot discussion to be had that I'm sure that you'll get into here whenever you say your piece.

But you think to yourself, all right, well, Sutton, Troy Franklin is the main two bits of competition.

That's no big deal.

Well, it is now considering that before it would have been some mix of Jalen Wattle with 2-2 Atwell, Malik Washington,
