My name's Byron Lambert, and we've got a lot of business to handle this week.

And in some ways, I actually think that makes it easier to get deals done

at this juncture of the season. Why you might ask, well, it's because the value on those deals

doesn't have to be quite as precise. Winning teams are willing and able to overpay in order to

arm up for the playoff race. While losing simply have no choice they've run out of options

they have to make a good deal that helps them win now that is of course unless they are of the

chicken little variety who would rather go down in flames with all their good players their best

players quote unquote rather than see somebody else in their league capitalize on those guys down the stretch.

Such a timid strategy, such a timid behavioral temperament, one we will never subscribe to at Roster Watch.
