I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And for much of this season, we've been trying to figure out what is this Lakers team. And a lot of it's been through the coaches perspective. We've talked about lineups. We've talked about schemes, tried to look at it through the player's lens as

much as we can through the injuries and the really unusual start to the season. But it's been

a while since we've taken a look at the team through the lens of the GM and through the roster.

And so we're going to do that today in part because the Lakers have some

decisions coming up. Stanley Johnson's 10-day contract expired yesterday, as did Darren Collison's

and Jamario Jones. None of them have been brought back at this point, although if you hear

the quotes and you read between the lines, Dave McMenamon reported there's mutual interest

in bringing Stanley Johnson back. To start out, guys, that's the first thing. Let me clarify,

the 10-day contract that Stanley Johnson was on was due to the COVID protocols, right? It was a

hardship exception that doesn't normally exist, but in this really unusual circumstance of this

season with everyone

going into protocols, that they had that come up for teams when they get hit with a rash of

guys going into health and safety. And so that wasn't an actual 10-day contract. Darius,

the actual 10-day contracts start on the 5th, right? So on Wednesday. So there's reports of mutual interest

of him being brought back. Are you on the same page in that he's a no-brainer to bring back?
