And today we are talking about a recyclable ski.

This is a new ski from Rosignol, and the ski is simply titled Essential.

And my guest is David Bouvier, who has been with Rosignol in a number of different

capacities for a very long time. And David has been instrumental from the concept of this ski

essential through its development. And as you'll hear in this conversation, this isn't the first time

that David has really pushed the ski industry to think about, well, what the future

of skiing could look like. And I will make a confession here right up front. When I first heard about this ski, I have to admit that I was fairly skeptical,

wondered if this was a bit of a gimmick.

And for those of you who maybe are as skeptical in general as I am,

you should definitely listen to this conversation because I now have a

much better understanding of Rosignoll's vision, not just for this ski, but for where things

might go from here. And I think this is a pretty compelling vision for the ski industry.
