And I'm Ross Blacher, and we are yet again interrupting a series we just reviewed our 2020s.

We've got some predictions for 2021, but right now is a crucial moment in American history,

the United States history, and there's a particular set of beliefs that are playing a really

frightening role, and we thought it would be a good time to maybe talk with someone who

knows a bit about that.

Yeah, so we're talking of course about QAnon, which is a community set up around a conspiracy

theory that there is a high level government

insider who is dumping a bunch of inside information about the goings-on of the US government.

And our interviewer will tell us more about that, but the reason it's so important right

now is that a lot of the people who just stormed the US Capitol last week were QAnon believers.

And so we were really excited when we heard from Joe Andrak, who's a senior researcher

at a company called Logically.

Yeah.

So we're a team of data scientists, fact checkers, and AI developers, and basically they're

combating fake news.

And in particular, in the last couple weeks, they've been working on unmasking some of

the people who are right at the heart of this QAnon conspiracy.

Yeah, and Joe's going to be able to tell us a bit about that investigative work.

So really important stuff being done.
