Hello, James Acaster here, comedian and music fan, and in 2017, I had a breakdown. I dealt

with that breakdown by buying as much music from 2016 as I

possibly could. As a result, I now own over 700 albums that came out in 2016 and I'm convinced

it's the greatest year for music of all time. But it's not enough me being convinced. I also

want to convince each and every single one of you, plus a guest

every week. I'm going to send them an album from 2016 in advance. They're going to come on the podcast.

We're going to talk about that album. This week, my guest, is Rosie Jones. And we're going to talk

about a moon-shaped Paul by Radiohead.

Radiohead need no introduction at this point, one of the UK's biggest bands, one of the biggest bands in the world.

It's crazy to think that they all met at school as well.

I can't really wrap my head around that a lot of the time.

They've gone through many different phases.

Each one of their albums gets more experimental than the one

before, goes in a different direction than the one before that did. They've got very loyal,

hardcore fans. They're beloved by so many people. However, I have never really got into a radio head.

Never disliked them, but I found it daunting.

Their back catalogue, so many people love them.

But when you decide to listen to as many albums as you can from one year,

it's really handy when a band-like radiohead releases an album and you're like, well, I guess that's where I'm starting with Radiohead.

I guess I'm starting with their latest album, a moon-shaped pool. Will Rosie Jones like it, though?
