My name is Laurel. I grew up in Florida and North Carolina.

And I moved out to Portland when I was 21.

I have seen quite a few strange things and experienced a lot that can't easily be explained at least not by me.

The first thing that I am certain of experiencing I was seven years old and we had just moved

up to North Carolina and I got out of bed.

I lived on the second story and I went down stairs and I was going to go to

and stairs to get a glass of water. So walking towards the stairs and I see my

great grandma on the landing below the first white of stairs. I'm like oh

grandma mom did tell me that you're coming and she goes, she's got a sleep little one.

And I go, okay, I go right back to sleep, I get my glass, I fill it up from the bathroom

sink beside me instead of going downstairs.

And I wake up and the morning and my mom, you know, she seems a little sad.

She's getting me ready for school.

And we're walking up the hill.

I was a long tall hill.

I had to do every day.

And she tells me, you know, I've got some news honey um great grandma passed last night

I didn't know what's happened I was like, are you talking about great grandma was here

where is she and uh my mom explains you know great grandma passed away she's She isn't alive anymore. I was like, but I just saw her.
