Three days ago, I was in a cab going up the West Side Highway, and we got rear-ended.

We got into a car accident.

Not the fun kind of rear-ending, to be clear. No, no, the fun kind of rear-ending. No, no, the scary kind of rear-ending and I was not wearing a seatbelt, which is stupid and don't do that. But luckily, I'm fine. My driver was fine. And she and I both get out of the car. And then all the strangest thing happened. Like first out I had, it was like, the plumber's coming. I got to get home.

I got to get home. I have a plumber on the way. I need to get home. So, Paul, I walk out of the

West Side Highway. I walk on the West Side Highway through traffic to get to the off ramp

onto like where I was. Just holding the middle finger up the whole way.

And I thought to myself, who should I call?

I can't call my parents because it will upset them that something insane just happened to me.

But also it's kind of funny and I need to talk to someone about it.

I call you.

You call me.

And I was like, hey, so you'd be my lawyer right now. Is it okay that I walked away from the scene of a crime? I, of course, picked up the phone with, are you okay? Why are you up at eight? Much less calling me. And then I'm on the phone with her for maybe like three minutes and Eric is in the middle of the tent and she goes, oh, I think my other car is here. Okay, I got to go. The plumber's coming. And then she basically like hangs up on me. And I'm just sitting there on the couch like, I guess she's fine. Is she in shock? Is she bleeding? Yeah. She said she wasn't. I did ask her about bleeding. Do you check the back of your head? She was good. Yeah, yeah. You did all the right things. You were like,

are you dizzy? Are you nauseous? I think you're fine. I think you're okay. We know about

concussion protocol because of watching varsity blues. That's right. So we're good. We're good. Hey, I'm Paul.
