Here we go. It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith, Thursday, July 19, 2012. I'm just a warning.

This is not a light edition, but we're only dealing with a single topic.

I'll explain here in a minute. Thank you for tuning in your listening to fighting for the faith. My name is

Chris Roseboro. I am your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program that

dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment, the goal of which help you to think biblically, help you

think critically, and help you compare what people are saying in the name of God to the

word of God. There's no shortage of crazy things being set out there, and this is a program that will teach you to

well slow down a little bit

take out your Bible and see if what people are claiming God wants or God said is really what God wants and what God said. How do we know?

Well, because God inspired the scriptures to be written and he inspired his prophets he's inspired his apostles and he gave

them words and sentences and pronouns and adjectives and adverbs and well I sound like a little schoolhouse rock things I'm

getting all excited about grammar here but that's the idea here is is that when

you we look at God's word in context when we pay close attention to what's revealed there, we can know what

God has said, what he's revealed, what his will is, what he wants, what he doesn't want,

you know things like that.
