podcast is a coronavirus treatment getting closer. Very early but

optimistic news on Gilead's drug Remdesevir. It's yielding encouraging results in a clinical

trial according to a new report. Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former FDA head on this possible hope

for a treatment. I don't think this is going to be the one drug answer to this disease, but it can change

the contours of the disease and mitigate the worse outcomes for some patients.

Hermann and Andrew Ross Sorkett. The futures are trading incredibly

higher. This is all about that Gilliard report that we heard.

This was news coming out of a University of Chicago study and we're going to talk more about

this in just a little bit, but it was, it saw a rapid recovery of 125 patients or most of the 125 patients in that study.

In fact, 113 of them had severe disease.

Many of them walked out of the hospital or left the hospital, discharged from the hospital after six days,

which is incredibly impressive if you're watching this.

There have been a lot of people talking about this study.

Obviously, that's the reason that you're seeing the future's up.

If you could get a therapeutic drug, that would mean people didn't die of this,

that would be amazing.
