TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

JEREMIAH 17:7-8 - Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.

1:21.0

Our Lord and our God, we are asking you to be our teacher today. We want to understand what Jeremiah was communicating in the way that you

1:30.5

want us to understand it. Lord, apply it to our circumstances, our lives, each of us as individuals

1:36.6

that we can receive from you a personal instruction today. We ask it in Jesus' name. Amen.

1:43.8

Okay, friends, Jeremiah 17 versus 7 through 8. Now, the book of

1:49.1

Jeremiah is a prophecy. So it's filled with all kinds of judgments and warnings and declarations of

1:58.2

what's going to happen if God's people in that day did not repent of their sins.
