Hello and welcome to the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast Rookie Snapshot series. This is episode

three where Yahoo draft analyst Eric Ed Holm and I will discuss quarterbacks. And, you know,

there's a lot of drama, Eric, around this particular position as of late. I think it probably

all started when San Francisco moved up. Definitely,

there are presumptions being made about who will be the third overall selection. I think there

should be some questions about why it's automatically assumed someone will be going at the number

two spot, which seems a little bananas to me, but we'll get there.

So maybe this isn't the biggest focus on like fantasy outside of Superflex and Dynasty leagues, but, you know, after Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow broke onto the scene last year,

maybe we should take these players more seriously.

And there are additional pieces that they could potentially lift as in the

current NFL, rookies aren't really, you know, set to learn behind anyone. They're pretty much

thrown into the fire as starters immediately. Yeah, I mean, with five potential first round picks and, you know, even if you count David Davis-Mills as somebody who could go in the top 50 or something like that. I mean, we could see a ton of rookie quarterbacks getting in there early. You assume Trevor Lawrence is going to start from day one, Zach Wilson could too. Whoever the Niners take it, three could be a 16 16 game starter if Jimmy Garoppolo's moved.

You know, it's exciting to think about how many young players will get to see.

And a year from now, we'll be able to say, all right, this player is clearly ahead of the rest.

You know, Herbert was a surprise last year to some.

You know, Burrow obviously gets injured.

You know, Tua's story was unusual. I can't wait

till we can fast forward a year from now and kind of look back at this class because five

totally different talents. Absolutely. Well, you mentioned Trevor Lawrence and I think he is

the name that everybody knows whether they follow college football, fantasy football or football

in general. I mean, it's hard
