Welcome to this week's episode of this week's episode of Rookie Rulet, where we focus on just a specific rookie.

We're just going to kind of go through and analyze what their season has looked like so far,

and then we'll dive into an interview with a guest who kind of

covers or specializes in that team specifically this week we have bub carrington carleton

and later on we'll have an interview with matt maderno from believe in wizards podcast really

fun interview he provided a ton of insight insight into Bub's season so far, how, what he likes, dislikes,

and then also some, we just kind of touched on the growth and impact so far of other

young players like Bilal Kulibali, Alex Tsar, and Kishon George.

But since we are focused on Bub this week, let's kind of take a look at where he

ended up last year, how his season's going so far.

A lot of good, a lot of bad, interesting mix of numbers.

So Bob Carrington, rookie point guard, out of Pittsburgh, here's

one and done there, kind of one of the more surprising one and done players. At Pittsburgh,

he showed a ton of really creative offensive creation with this pull-up shooting, pick and roll

operation, his playmaking rebounding, piled up triple

doubles, especially early in the year, really kind of exploded onto the scene, but struggled

to finish at the rim, struggled on defense, at least consistently on defense, and struggled to

shoot off the catch. And we're seeing a lot of those kind of similarities carry over into his rookie year.

So last year, Carrington ended up at 17 on the No Sealing's Collective Big Board. He ended up

number 11 for me personally and was the 14th pick for the Washington Wizards, along with fellow
