This week we check in in the direction of Kason Wallace from the OKC Thunder.

It's time for the rookie report, and I am shocked that we have not gotten to Cason Wallace yet.

I actually thought that I did, but then I couldn't find the episode.

So maybe I wrote it and didn't record it.

Maybe I recorded it and forgot about it.

But he has been probably one of the most consistent rookies in the league this year, top five at least.

We were talking about Cason Wallace, the number 10 pick in the draft this year by who? The Oklahoma City Thunder, so you already knew what time it was. They

were going to get a steal, as Sam Presti always does. He liked Kaysen so much that he traded

up from the 12 spot by taking on Davise Bertanz' contract, which he then flipped as part of the

Gordon Hayward trade. The dude, Sam Presti, continues to impress. What OKC loved about

Kays and Wallace is his explosiveness. In his last 14 games, Wallace is averaging 7-2-1 with one stock, stock, stock in 19 minutes per game.

In many ways, Kaysen is the perfect example of what makes the Thunder very special.

Number 10 pick, Oklahoma City can afford to take both a chance and be patient.

It really pays off in guys like Wallace.

He's an outstanding three-point shooter.
