Hi there once again. It's a Thursday night, Gary Neville podcast.

We've been watching your beloved Manchester United draw with Chelsea.

The game that had a few talking points and we've been over Manchester United shortcomings a lot.

Can we start by talking about the man who rescued a point and continues to score pretty much all their goals at the age of 37?

Cristiano Ronaldo, who you know well from your time playing with him in his first spell.

Yeah, he keeps going.

He came to score goals and he is scoring goals and he must be incredibly frustrated.

You think back, I mentioned it actually before the kickoff around that energy in this

stadium in that first game against Newcastle here and what we've witnessed tonight, which

you know, the fans weren't toxic in here tonight by any stretch of imagination. They weren't at

all. In fact, they were just watching the game peacefully. But it's not what he wanted at the end of his

career. It's not what he wanted on his return to

Manchester United yet he still continues his persistence his determination to continue to contribute

and score goals is absolutely incredible you can't really speak highly enough of him his goal tonight was wonderful he doesn't really speak highly enough of him. His goal tonight was wonderful.

He doesn't really lose that belief in himself when you can see that that's a team lacking in great coinwell, lacking in confidence completely.
