If you saw the play Frost Nix,

and you saw that it was interview as Bloodsport, but also

two men fighting for territory.

And what's interestingly about, to me, is really about men trying to prove themselves

for what they do.

My guest, Oscar winning director Ron Howard, has made a number of films about men basically

fighting themselves through their livelihood.

Ron, first of all, welcome back.

My pleasure, Ellis.

And I just wonder if you saw that when you saw the play, because you've done so many things,

we can look back on almost everything you've done to some extent or another.

It's about people proving themselves by their work.

Yeah, I'm interested in people being tested.

And, you know, workplace challenges are really relatable. They're relatable to me

and to others that, you know, and I, and so I'm drawn to them. I tend to be a little more inclined

to look at groups and certainly key individuals within the groups and the challenges they face.

With Frost Nixon, these are really lone wolves.
