Summary

Former FBI agent and criminal profiler Candice DeLong examines the murders by Ron DeFeo, and the legend of the Amityville horrors. Ron’s killing of his entire family in the 1970’s sparked the beginning of a horror story phenomena, when the house where the murders took place was declared, “the most haunted house in the world.” Candice weighs in not only on the rarity of Ron’s familicide, but on the psychology behind our fascination with scary stories.
