series on the New Testament book of Romans. I am so thankful for our guest today, Alan

Parr, has been teaching the Bible for 25 years. He's the founder of the Beat, which is an

online Bible teaching ministry that you may be familiar with on YouTube. He just released

a book last month called Miss Lead and get this subtitle. You guys, seven lies that distort

the gospel and how you can discern the truth. I love to this conversation with Alan about

chapter six through eight of Romans. There's so much good stuff in there you all, and we're

not going to get to all of it. As you know, you're going to want to dig in and read it all

for yourself. But I hope this conversation encourages you in your study of Romans as much

as it did me. Let's get right to it.

Oh, it's just my honor and privilege. I'm looking forward to having a great time today, and thank

you so much for having me on. Yes, well, thank you for saying yes. Something that you all

listening may not know is that when a guest says yes to our invitation, it's basically like

accepting a homework assignment because you have to read scripture and prepare and I say

have to, you know, you get to, but also schedules and such. And so it's not an easy lift. In the book

of Romans, there's a lot going on here, Alan. There is. There is. This is a theological

minefield feast. Yes. I mean, there's so much in this book that we can dig into and we could

really be studying it probably for I've known churches that have studied it for a year or a couple
