| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Gospel Truth with Andrew Womack, a teaching ministry that focuses on God's unconditional love and grace. |
| 0:09.0 | The Apostle Paul said this one thing I do, Philippians chapter 3, that was one of the keys to his success. |
| 0:16.0 | You've got to be focused on what God calls you to do, and just because it's good doesn't mean it's God's will for you. |
| 0:24.0 | And now here's Andrew. |
| 0:27.0 | Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truths. |
| 0:30.0 | Today is the middle of my 11th week teaching verse by verse through the book of Romans, and I'm just about through with it. |
| 0:38.0 | Hopefully by this coming Friday I can finish up the book of Romans. |
| 0:42.0 | I could spend more time on it because the Scripture says that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, |
| 0:51.0 | for proof, for correction, for the instruction and righteousness that the man of God might be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. |
| 0:59.0 | And so even these closing remarks are beneficial to us, and sometimes we just skip over those things. |
| 1:06.0 | But because I've already spent nearly 11 weeks on this, I am trying to finish up this series by the end of this week, and this will be the last time that we offer this new product on the book of Romans. |
| 1:19.0 | It's a book I've entitled Romans, Paul's Masterpiece on Grace, over 400 pages where I teach verse by verse through every verse in the book of Romans, and I put my living commentary together with it, and then I have CDs, DVDs, DVDs with testimonies of people, and we're even offering a package where you can get my living commentary that is beyond just the book of Romans, and it covers nearly 26,000 verses in the Bible. |
| 1:48.0 | That I have written commentary on, that's a digital commentary, and this coming Friday is going to be our last day to make this special offer. |
| 1:58.0 | We're now down to Romans chapter 15, and in verse 29 he says, and I am sure that when I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. |
| 2:12.0 | Man, that is one powerful scripture right there. Did you know most people don't understand this? When I go into churches, it's typical. It's not always this way, but it's typical that they will take me into a green room into the pastor's study or something, and they will all lay hands on me and pray and ask God to annoy me and to bless me. |
| 2:35.0 | And you know, I don't usually say anything because I understand what they're doing, and I'm not trying to be contentious, but I think to myself that if you don't think that I'm anointed, and if you don't think that God has already blessed me, why in the world did you ask me to come? |
| 2:49.0 | You're going to wait until five minutes before I go out there and ask God to annoy me. See Paul, it wasn't like that with Paul. Paul said, I'm sure that when I come unto you, that word that was translated sure is a Greek word, E-I-D-O, |
| 3:04.0 | and it literally means to see, literally or figurly, by implication to know. In other words, Paul saw, he knew that when he came to these people, he was going to be in the power of the Holy Spirit and functioning in these things. |
| 3:20.0 | And I'm telling you, the people who believe that God can annoy you, but they don't believe that God has anointed you, and they aren't operating in that authority and that assurance. |
| 3:32.0 | Man, they ought to go get another job. God would be unjust to call me to preach the gospel if he didn't annoy me to preach the gospel. |
| 3:42.0 | And I'm talking about not annoy me five minutes before I go out there. It's something you live in. In 2 Corinthians chapter 1, where it says that all of the promises of God in him are yes and amen unto the glory of God, the Father, by us. |
| 4:00.0 | Let me just read the verses after this. 2 Corinthians chapter 1, and in verse 21, it says, now he which established us with you in Christ and half anointed us is God, who hath also sealed us and given us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. |
