| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Gospel Truth with Andrew Womack, a teaching ministry that focuses on God's unconditional love and grace. |
| 0:09.0 | You have to say it's either the grace of God that offers you relationship with God through what Jesus did and just your faith in Him. |
| 0:17.0 | It's either that grace or it's your own effort, but it can't be a combination of the two. |
| 0:24.0 | And now here's Andrew. |
| 0:26.0 | Welcome to our Friday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. |
| 0:30.0 | This is the close of my eighth week of teaching verse by verse through the book of Romans and we're now into Romans chapter 11 verse 1. |
| 0:39.0 | So I've been averaging a little over one chapter per week and we've still got, I think it's six chapters to go. |
| 0:49.0 | Anyway, I'm going to have to speed up a little bit, but let me just say that I have really enjoyed this and I've got this brand new book out. |
| 0:57.0 | It's the first time we've ever offered this and this is a compilation of my commentaries that I've written on this as well as teaching that I've done and it would really be a blessing to you. |
| 1:09.0 | It's the first time we've offered it, it's over 400 pages. |

| 1:24.0 | There's no way that I can go back and cover the previous 10 chapters, but just in the last few chapters Paul was talking about. |
| 1:33.0 | He longed for the Jews to be born again so much that he was willing even to be a curse separated from God if that could produce the Jews receiving salvation. |
| 1:44.0 | That's out of Romans chapter 9 verse 3. |
| 1:47.0 | Of course, Jesus has already done that and so Paul didn't have to do it. He was just expressing his love for the Jews, how strong it was. |
| 1:54.0 | And as he was lamenting how the Jews as a whole had rejected the Lord, then he began to start inserting, but you know the true Jews are those who are relating to God by faith, not just by their genealogy, their physical things. |
| 2:11.0 | Not letting him into talking about how that any person, Jew or Gentile, if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. |
| 2:21.0 | You shall be saved in Romans chapter 10 verse 9 and we've talked about all those things. |
| 2:26.0 | Now he comes back to talking about the Jews and how he has adjusted and dealt with the fact that the majority of the Jews had rejected Jesus as a Messiah. |
| 2:38.0 | That's a sad thing because Jesus came for the Jews and yet as a whole the Jews rejected him. |
| 2:45.0 | So in Romans chapter 11 verse 1 he says, I say then, half God cast away his people. |
| 2:51.0 | God forbid for I also am an Israelite of the seat of Abraham of the tribe of Benjamin. |
