Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

I'm drawing close to the end of my seventh week teaching verse by verse through the Book of Romans.

I tell you, I love this. It's powerful.

I've got this new book entitled Romans, Paul's Masterpiece on Grace.

And this is a thick book. It's got a teaching that I've done on the Book of Romans as well as my living commentary footnotes.

I've got a Bible commentary that I've written footnotes on nearly 26,000 verses in the Bible.

We've also got DVD CDs and I've just got so much material that, you know, the things that we're dealing with now,

we're in Romans chapter 8 and beginning with verse 31.

And this week I've only been covering one or two verses per day.

And it's because these are just some critical issues that have been taken out of context and misused to cause bondage to people.

It's actually these verses, people have said things from these verses that are completely contrary to what they're actually saying.

And it's slandered the very nature and character of God.

This is the tactic of the devil all the way back to Genesis chapter 3 where he came against the character of God.

It doesn't want you to be like him. That was a lie. That was imputing the character of God.

And these things that have been mistought from Romans chapter 8 right here have impuned the character of God.

It's slandered against God. It's Satan's old trick and religion is the one that is fostering these things upon people.

So I've spent quite a bit of time dealing with these verses the last few days.
