Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. Today is my third day teaching through the Book of Romans.

I just started this last Monday, and in two days I've already said some amazing things.

Actually Paul said some amazing things. I've just been amplifying on it.

I've laid the foundation probably for everything else that will be said as we study through the Book of Romans.

I really started emphasizing in Romans chapter 1 verses 16 and 17 that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation.

I spent time defining what gospel is. It's not what the religious cliche of today means when you use the word gospel.

It's specifically referring to what Jesus did on our behalf and it's all available to us not based on our performance.

How holy we are, but just based on whether we believe and receive our doubt and do it out.

Man, that's nearly too good to be true news.

And the Gospel, this good news about that Jesus purchased everything for us. We don't purchase it by our actions.

That's the power that releases not only the forgiveness of sins, but healing, deliverance, prosperity, joy, peace, anything you want to mention.

Anything that came as a result of Jesus' sacrifice for us is part of salvation.

And it's a shame that the church has broken salvation into different segments and says forgiveness of sins is the only thing that's for everybody.
