thing is produced. And now here's Andrew. Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of

the Gospel Truth. Today I'm continuing teaching verse by verse through the book of

Romans. This is the beginning of my sixth week on this and so if you've missed any

of this teaching or even if you've heard it you need to go back and I'd encourage

you to get this new book that I've got because this is it's detailed. I consider

Romans Paul's masterpiece but it is line upon line. He just systematically goes

through and shows us the grace of God and he was talking to a religious crowd

that was steeped in the Old Testament law, the legalism, the performance based

relationship with God. And I tell you this is where our modern day church is today.

We are as legalistic as the religious church of Jesus in Paul's day. Some people

don't recognize that because we've changed some of the things. We don't wear any

longer the factories and we don't measure our steps on the Sabbath day and we

don't observe the feast days. But we've got the same mentality to where I've

got to pray. I've got to seek God. I've got to go to church pavementize do this and

if I don't do it God won't bless me. It's still a law mentality. And Paul was

just systematically bringing the Jews out of this legalistic mentality into

the liberty and the grace that we have in Christ. And I tell you this is needed
