The Whole Council of God. Father Stephen is a former Protestant pastor and Bible teacher in the

Reformed Church, but now an Orthodox priest serving at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

in Lafayette, Louisiana.

He says, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love,

in honor giving preference to one another.

Right.

So again, very concrete.

What does it mean to love one another?

Right.

He says, well, it means to be kindly and affectionate, which is different than just not having bad feelings.

That love is expressed.

And also, concretely, that in terms of honor, you give preference to the other, to the other person, rather than trying to take

it for yourself.

Right.

Another concrete thing.

Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit serving the Lord.

So we'll pause here because there's going to be a long list yeah right so again we're talking about using our gifts right not lagging

indiligence this isn't something we do once in a while. This isn't something we do a certain

amount and then we've checked that box and we've covered it, but this is something we're

diligent about. Fervent in spirit serving the Lord, right, that we're doing these things

again.
