Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study

of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book. If you have been with us for our recent

verse-by-verse studies in the book of Romans, you know that the

Apostle Paul is painting a very bleak picture of the nature of man, and we will see that again

in today's study in Romans chapter 3. Essentially, Paul is revealing the truth that all men are

unrighteous and without excuse. But after Paul completes painting

this dark picture, he will then reveal the beauty of the gem of salvation. As we join

our study today, we are discussing whether there is any temporal benefit for a country or a culture

to follow God's principles, even if they don't believe in

him. With the answer to that, here now is Pastor John.

It is true, in my perspective and opinion, the great need for America is not reformation

but regeneration. That is, more than political activity, there needs to be a spiritual revival.

It is true, as I've told you, you really can't expect to clean the fish until you catch the fish.
