0:28.0	is the history of the Jewish people and he was Jewish so it meant a great deal to him but most of us
0:33.7	are Gentiles were non-Jews it kind of feels like you're going to a family
0:37.4	reunion for somebody else's family it's hard to really know what's going
0:40.9	on and then it dawned on me because I love you I was
0:42.8	praying for you this week God's word is not old it's eternal that means it's
0:47.4	always timely because it's timeless and what Paul is talking about in Romans
0:52.2	chapter 11 is exactly what we are talking about in Romans chapter 11 is exactly what we are experiencing and dealing with both personally and also nationally today.
0:59.4	Let me set the stage.
1:00.5	So because we were made to worship, to glorify, to live for a God who is greater
1:06.6	than us, there's something in us that longs to be part of something bigger and better.
1:11.6	And so we have these loyalties, these allegiances.
1:15.0	For some people, they're totally devoted to their nation.
1:18.6	And that's patriotism.
1:19.6	Some people are totally devoted to their political party. That is political party adoration.
