We're in Romans chapter 10

We're going through a great book of the Bible one of the most

significant pieces of literature honestly in the history of the world

written by one of the world's most brilliant minds a man named Paul and we've been in Romans

910 and just to catch you up where we find ourselves at the end of Romans 10 today

He's he's answering this question. How do we start or enjoy a relationship with God?

So God's in heaven we're on earth God's holy we're sinful God's good we're bad because of sin we die

What happens after we die? How do we go to heaven and be with God who makes that decision?

Who makes that choice? That's kind of the big concept that he's unpacking in Romans 9 and 10 and there are basically

Three options maybe Satan decides who goes to heaven if so that's bad for us because none of us are gonna make it

The other option is maybe we choose maybe some of us get to choose whether or not we go to heaven

He already told us in Romans 3 10 and 11 no one seeks God no one finds God no one chooses God

So those two options were all kindling good news. There is the third option God could make the choice who goes to heaven and

The point is that none of us have the right to go to heaven but God in his love and his grace chooses or

predestines or elacs some of us into this loving eternal relationship with him now in saying all of this

Paul understands we're gonna have some questions and or objections wait a minute if God chooses us and we don't choose him

Is that loving is that fair is that right? I got a lot of questions

So he answers five potential objections and questions in Romans chapter 9 and 10 we're dealing with number five today

And the basic question is about God being uncaring and the point is if God chooses some people but not all people and if God has
