We've been going through the book of Romans this year.

It's been a supernatural, incredible, extraordinary year.

The church has doubled.

Real faith live online is doubled.

God has done some incredible things and this will be the last

sermon in Romans for this year and we'll pick it up again after Valentine's Day.

So we're in Romans chapter 7 and the really great news that I have for you today is during this Christmas season when we are

buying gifts and giving gifts and receiving gifts.

God has good gifts to give to his children and today he's going to talk to us about one of the

greatest gifts.

That is the gift of new desires that comes with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And this is one of the great secrets of the Christian life that non-Christians, quite frankly, don't understand.

And that is that Christianity is not a bunch of things

that we have to do, it's a bunch of things

that we get to do, because God changes our desires

and ultimately the things of God

are the things that we want to do.

That makes the Christian life the most joyful life, the most exciting

life, the most satisfying life, but if we're on us, there are also moments time, seasons of struggle.
