And each week I will teach verse by verse through the passage of scripture

We've got a great study. We're going to dive right into this because we got plenty to talk about as well. So thrilled you're here, but I love to study the word of God with you. So let me begin in a word of prayer.

Father, as we look now into your word, we want to acknowledge again our dependence

upon the primary teacher, the Holy Spirit to guide and direct and

renew our minds to lead us into the right understanding of your word, as well as how to live this out in our own personal

lives.

Use me as a secondary teacher to direct our thoughts into the word. Bless these men who have gathered

here this morning and all who will come in contact with this lesson.

We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Okay, Romans, Chapter 15 is where we are. If you're just new to our study we have literally gone

verse by verse and at times even word by word, phrase by phrase through the

entire book of Romans and we have come to the next to the last chapter

Romans chapter 15 and we are this morning looking at two verses, verses five and six.

The title of this is a prayer for unity.

And this needs to be our prayer as well for wherever you attend church, for your family,

for your circles of friendship, for other churches as well.

God desires the unity of brothers and sisters in Christ.

And that is what Paul prays for for the church in Rome.

So I want to begin by reading these verses, starting in verse 5.
