And each week I will teach verse by verse through the passage of scripture so that you can better understand the word of God

and put it into practice in your life.

Join me now as we look together into this section of the Bible.

As we were coming down the home stretch here in Romans and so any thoughts you have

after Romans you're more and welcome to email it to me which you'd like for us to study but I'll start in a word of prayer. Father

as we come together now to study your word we pray

pray that all the sanctifying, saving power of your word

would be unleashed in our lives.

Use this study today to further point us into the center

of your will to further conform us into the image of Christ, to further bolster our

faith and strengthen us, to challenge us, to convict us.

We ask that you would do all of these things and to meet us at our point of need.

I pray for these men who have gathered here this morning that you

would unusually bless them, make this worth their time to be here today. So I pray your Holy Spirit would be

mildly at work. I pray he would be work in me to stir up within me the gift

that you've given to me that I might use it for the good of all who are here.

So may Christ be honored and glorified.

We pray this in his name, amen. Okay, we're in Romans chapter 15 and we're looking at the last four

verses of Romans 15 and the title of this is a request for prayer, a request for prayer.

And I want to begin by reading these verses.
